Anthropic is replacing 30-day chat storage for enterprise customers
After pushback, Anthropic said enterprise customers can keep their data on their own systems, with safety checks run there, at no charge, rolling out in phases with wider access this fall. The 30-day storage rule for its top models still applies to other subscribers.
Why it matters: If your office isn't on an enterprise plan, assume chats with the top Claude models are kept for 30 days and leave private customer details out.
