Microsoft rebuilds Copilot as one app for business work, and Meta shows AI glasses with no camera from $349.

New AI tools and features, and assistants arriving in apps you already use.

  • Microsoft rebuilds Copilot as one app for business work

Microsoft's redesigned Copilot app puts chat, coding and a new Autopilot feature that does tasks on its own in one place, inside Excel and Word too. Most new features are in an early test with no date for everyone, and the most hands-off ones will cost extra.

Why it matters: Once these features reach your plan, check what your Microsoft subscription for Word and Excel includes before paying for another AI tool.

  • Meta's camera-free AI glasses start at $349

Meta announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, glasses with no camera that play audio, take calls, translate speech and talk to its Muse assistant, with up to 12 hours of battery. Preorders open October 13.

Why it matters: For calls on a ladder or under a sink, this is hands-free calling and an assistant with no camera pointed at customers.
