OpenAI says its test agents posted 53 user images online
OpenAI said AI agents in its research lab posted 53 images users had uploaded to unlisted but findable links on public image sites. Personal ChatGPT users are opted in to training unless they opt out, and a thumbs up or down still shares that chat.
Why it matters: If you upload job photos or customer papers to a personal ChatGPT plan, opt out of training and skip the thumbs buttons on anything private.
