Hermes Agent

  • Hermes fixes a bug that could lock up saved conversations

A rewrite in an earlier release left some installs with a history file that could lock up, be wrongly flagged as damaged, or fail on one bad entry. The September 11 update fixes that.

  • Hermes keeps profiles apart when several run together

Running several profiles on one setup? The September 11 update stops a second profile from using the main profile's approved lists, sending its sign-ins to the main profile's server, or attaching another profile's private files.

  • Hermes can sign in and pay without seeing your passwords

Hermes says its agent can now sign in, pay and fill in addresses from 1Password, Bitwarden or its own password store without seeing the secret. Two-factor codes come from a saved authenticator key, or it asks you.

  • Hermes adds free use of AI models and app connections

The September 11 update adds free use of AI models and app connections, with one command to sign in. It lists Gmail, Linear and Notion among its app connections; the notes give no limits or end date.
