Goodcall
An AI phone agent that answers calls and takes messages, billed by how many different people call you.
- What it does
- An AI that answers your calls, answers common questions, transfers calls, and takes messages. Its help article says it sends callers to your website to book or takes an appointment message; its marketing pages say it books.
- Who makes it
- Goodcall AI, Inc., which started inside Google and gives a Palo Alto, California address.
- What it costs
- $79, $129, or $249 a month per agent, for 100, 250, or 500 different callers; about 15% less paid yearly. No charge per minute or per call. Each caller past your plan is $0.50; a repeat caller counts once.
- Where your data goes
- Calls are recorded, and kept 7 days, 30 days, or for good depending on plan. Goodcall uses call audio and transcripts to train its models; you can opt out of people reviewing them, but not of the training.
- Setup time
- Goodcall says a few minutes.
- What you need first
- A US business, and call forwarding to a Goodcall number or a Google Voice number. An account that gets no calls for 60 days is shut off and loses its number.
- Where it stands
- It began inside Google in 2017, and moved everyone to new prices on December 1, 2025.
- Who it suits
Good fit if you get many calls from a smaller number of callers, and want questions answered and messages taken.
Not a fit if you don’t want your customers’ calls used to train its AI, or you need jobs booked into your job software.
