Plan a week around priorities

A day-by-day draft: buffer time protected, assumptions called out.

Anyone planning a busy week who wants a draft that shows what fits.

Works with any AI assistant.

By the end of this, you will be able to paste your commitments and get a draft week that shows what fits.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. Write down your commitments

List the appointments, deadlines, recurring tasks, and promises. Do not filter yet.

  2. Note your available time

Note the hours you actually have free, plus anything that limits you — a late start, school pickup.

  3. Open your assistant

Open the assistant you already use. A free plan works.

  4. Paste the prompt, then your list

Paste the prompt below, then your commitments and time blocks, and press enter.

  5. Review and adjust

Move anything in the wrong place. Check that the important things got real time, not leftover slots.

Copy this prompt

Copy this, paste it in, then paste your commitments and time blocks underneath.

Build a realistic weekly plan from the commitments and time blocks I give you below. Keep to what I have told you — do not invent tasks or assume I have more time than I said. Label any assumption you make. Protect at least one buffer block each day. If something does not fit, name it clearly so I can decide what to move or drop. Include a short fallback note at the end for the most likely thing that will get bumped. Here are my commitments and available time:
