Connects apps and runs AI jobs, rented from n8n or run on a computer you (or someone you pay) look after, and priced per run.
- What it does
- Builds step-by-step jobs between your apps, including AI steps. It charges per whole run, however many steps the run has. n8n says it’s built for technical teams.
- Who makes it
- n8n GmbH, Berlin, Germany.
- What it costs
- Rented from n8n, Starter is €20 a month paid yearly for 2,500 runs, and Pro is €50 a month for 10,000. Every plan includes unlimited users. Running it on a computer you (or someone you pay) look after is free, but you pay for that computer and the upkeep.
- Where your data goes
- Rented plans store data in Frankfurt, Germany; on a computer you look after, it stays where you put it. Jobs run on their schedule without asking. n8n says data sent to its AI helper isn’t used to train models.
- What you need first
- An n8n account for the rented version; the trial needs no card. A computer, and someone to look after it, for the free version, which is licensed for use inside your own business.
- Where it stands
- Long-running. Its built-in AI helper is still a test version.
- Who it suits
Good fit if someone already sets up and looks after your software, and a job repeats often.
Not a fit if nobody in the shop will look after the computer it runs on or fix a job when it breaks.
