- When something happens in one app, like a web form coming in, Zapier does the next steps in your other apps without anyone lifting a finger. It connects to more than 9,000 apps, and also sells AI helpers it calls Agents.
- Who makes it
- Zapier, Inc. Its mailing address is in San Francisco, and it says it has worked remotely since day one.
- What it costs
- Free for 100 tasks a month, two steps at a time. Professional starts at $19.99 a month and Team at $69 a month, both paid yearly. Each action it takes counts as a task; the step that watches for new data doesn’t, and AI steps count as 1, 3, or 5.
- Where your data goes
- Once you switch one on, it runs every time without asking. Zapier may use your content, with personal details removed, to improve its products and train models unless you fill in its opt-out form. Data is handled in the US.
- What you need first
- A Zapier account and a login for each app you connect. Anything longer than two steps needs Professional or higher. No coding needed.

Good fit if the same office job repeats often and runs between apps you already use.
Not a fit if nobody in the shop will set up the steps and check that they keep working.
