Jobber

Job software for home service businesses: booking, quotes, scheduling, invoices, and payments in one place.

What it does
Runs the office side of a home service business: online booking, quotes, scheduling, invoices and online payments, and a basic website. Higher plans add automatic customer reminders, QuickBooks sync, two-way texting, and job costing.
Who makes it
Octopusapp Inc., doing business as Jobber, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
What it costs
For one person, Core is $49 a month with no commitment, or $29 a month paid yearly. Plans grow with team size: Connect, Grow, and Plus, up to $699 a month for 15 people with no commitment. Extra users are $29 a month each. Receptionist by Jobber is $29 a month more, or included on Plus.
Where your data goes
Jobber stores your customers’ details and any call recordings and transcripts. Its terms say what you share with its AI tools may be logged to improve them, and that some AI actions, like sending or rescheduling, can happen straight away and can’t always be undone.
What you need first
A Jobber account; the 14-day free trial needs no card. QuickBooks sync needs Connect or higher. The phone app works on iPhone and Android, in Spanish for team members.
Where it stands
Long-running: founded in 2011, with more than 400,000 service pros, per Jobber.
Who it suits

Good fit if you run a home service business with up to 15 people and want quotes, scheduling, and invoices in one place.

Not a fit if you only need invoicing and already do it in QuickBooks or Square.
